Rails Upgrade, Part Deux
Posted (April 21st, 2006 at 3:56 pm PST) by TerriWe will slowly roll out the Ruby on Rails upgrade next week, starting Monday April 21. We will start with two machines first, and then upgrade the rest of the servers. Please freeze your Rails applications if you have not already.
To freeze your Rails application, all you have to do is run rake freeze_gems and it’s done! If you ever need to undo the freeze, you just need to do rake unfreeze_rails.
We promise that this upgrade will be a lot smoother than the last run!
