We have corrected this - there was a problem with a specific database that it was trying to access besides the central one. After fixing that access was restored so there shouldn’t be any more problem related to this issue.
We have located the cause of the webmail database troubles, and believe we have fixed it. Webmail should not have these connection problems anymore.
The upgrades to our central management hardware went smoothly and everything is back online. Queued updates are running and they should all be caught up after a couple hours.

Tomorrow night, June 29 2006, we need to perform an upgrade on some of our central management hardware. This will involve stopping configuration updates. One of our database servers, bubs, is in the midst of a hardware failure. There is an admin in the datacenter now re-arranging hardware and it will be back online soon. If your database is not responding right now, there is a good chance you’re on bubs. Check this space for updates.
