OS Upgrades for Shared Database Servers
Beginning June 21, at 1AM PDT we will be upgrading the OS on our shared-hosting database servers to the latest version. The actual downtime for your databases should only be a couple of seconds, and thus should not be noticeable, but this is just a heads up.
It will likely take a couple of weeks to get them all upgraded, with the number of servers upgraded each night being low at first and slowly ramping up.
UPDATE Thu Jun 22 02:14:20 PDT 2006: Note, this is only updates of the Operation System on the servers. The MySQL version will not change. Sorry if this caused any confusion.
