Filer Offload
Posted (July 17th, 2006 at 1:17 pm PST) by micahAfter several attempts at getting this weekend’s misbehaving filer to recover we’re finally offloading the data to a new filer that was created yesterday. The offloads will take a while but we’ll be closely babysitting the old one for the duration.
Our apologies again for all of the downtime and other issues related to this bad filer, we’ve been working as much and as fast as possible to keep the effects to a minimum.

Due to the other problems we had today (http://www.dreamhoststatus.com/2006/07/17/network-problems-resolved/) the offload of the file server just began.
