Mail sending problems
Some of you are experiencing mail sending problems this morning. It looks like the database handling outgoing mail authentication is not working properly. The admins are looking into it, and are contemplating changing the db itself, so this sort of sending issue won’t happen any more.
Please check back here for updates and try using webmail to send in the meantime. We apologize for all the inconvenience this has caused.
Update 11:30am PDT - The databases were fixed, so all email sending should be normal again. You may experience initial slowness, but that should go away soon. If you’re still experiencing email sening difficulties, please submit a request and give us a detailed description: we need the email address, the email client you’re using, is this a recent issue and what is the exact error message.
Update 1:20pm PDT - Looks like SMTP was broken again for a while. It’s fixed again, mail is reported to be flowing through again. Very sorry about this.
