Mandatory Rails Upgrade

Posted (August 9th, 2006 at 11:40 am PST) by Terri

It seems that there is a security hole in all versions of Ruby on Rails, and so today we’re working on a mandatory upgrade. We will do this as carefully as possible, but it sounds like this needs to be rolled out quickly. We’ll post another update as soon as this is completed.

Update: Packages are built and looking good, so we’re beginning to upgrade everywhere. Please email support if you have any issues with Rails 1.1.5. You can see if your server has been upgraded by running “gem list.”

Update Too! The upgrade is complete across our network. We’ve tested everything out very thoroughly so there shouldn’t be any issues, but please email support if you see any bumps related to the upgrade.
