		<description>The thing w/ rotatelogs is that it can end up opening an extra filehandle if you run it per virtual host -- easier to do one mongo log file that includes the virtual host field (%v) and split it up via post-processing (which it sounds like you may do).  Other than that gotcha, rotatelogs is OK.  cronolog is far nicer (http://cronolog.org/) -- same caveats apply.</description>
