The local drive just holds the OS. All user files are kept on the NAS (Network attached storage) cluster which is RAID. This allows a "machine" to be replaced in a very short period of time even if the entire machine were to fail.
Because a few machines are kept in reserve, the entire machine can be replaced quickly and the long process of repairing the original machine can be done.

"hard drive"? As in one? A single drive? ... Don't you guys use hot-swappable RAID? ... At least a couple disks per server? So if one fails you can swap it with a new one and the server keeps going? With no data loss? ... ?

Spam. Yes. I keep getting it out of nowhere, and I don't openly hand out my email. I keep getting them from debora and then some name next to it saying "it's me, -name-" There's no way to block those at all at the moment and it's really irritating.

Also, my server keeps deciding it's a good time to sleep whenever I work on something important. Why? I've had alot of tollerance for these outtages, but common. There's been way too many lately.

I appreciate the update, but when will we read about the (DH Support confirmed) problems with SpamAssassin. Specifically, it's re-tagging SPAM as "0" and letting it past filters. That's a system wide problem that's not being publicly addressed.

I think that list is a little outdated. I'm pretty sure Jeff or someone else from DH said the number is now around a thousand... plus a new one every few days.
