File server swap (Done!)
We are swapping out the “head” half of one of our file servers in about 15 minutes. The management interface is showing warning signs of an impending failure, and so we need to do this as soon as possible. This is to prevent an emergency swap later. Downtime should be about 10 minutes, likely less.

All done! Everything looks normal so far, but we will not know for a couple of hours if the transient error is gone.

All my web sites including my user directory on planters have been deleted. Is this related?

Well, manually changing to the directory does work and my files are there… What’s up with that?

Micah, it looks like everything is fine except for the fact that the machine (planters?) is refusing ftp connections.
