Another Batch of RAM Upgrades (Completed)

The following servers will have their BIOS flashed and memory upgraded:

union, twizzler, herod, patton, and io.

Union and twizzler are up first! Expected downtime is ~20 minutes.

- UPDATE Thu Nov 30 00:28:35 PST 2006 -

Both union and twizzler are back up and running. Herod and patton are going down now.

- UPDATE Thu Nov 30 00:44:16 PST 2006 -

Herod and patton are upgraded and operating properly. The last server to be upgraded tonight is io. Being that it’s across the hall in a different datacenter, it will not be going down for another 10 minutes.

- UPDATE Thu Nov 30 01:03:10 PST 2006 -

The final upgrade, io, has been completed.

Yay for the updates! Every time I see that somewhere is updating RAM, I am immediately drawn to the site or the company that has announced it. They always have more room to play around and grow. I always see that a company that has upgraded almost always changes their website design within a week of the acquisition. So, what new things can we expect from you? Any hints that you could give us for the future of your site and company? Or is it a secret that we have to wait for? I should tell you know that I hate secrets. I know a lot of people do too. So you should give up some sort of hint or a taste of things to come. Either way, I will keep an eye out for what is to come next from you. Don’t keep us waiting long though.
