The 2.0.7 update went smoothly, but I tried the update to 2.1 this morning, and it broke my blogs. Thank goodness for the backup! Let us know when the problem is diagnosed, please.

Mmm…2.1 broke my site, rolled back to their earlier, backed up directory…but it seems the database is changed by the upgrade…! So I see that there are errors in the categorisation, seems that all is not well, Yikes, what am I to do now (dives into WIKI, sees what he can find.)
Example:(appears under categories section:)

WordPress database error: [Table 'MYSITE.wp_linkcategories' doesn't exist]
SELECT DISTINCT link_category, cat_name, show_images, show_description, show_rating, show_updated, sort_order, sort_desc, list_limit FROM `wp_links` LEFT JOIN `wp_linkcategories` ON (link_category = cat_id) WHERE link_visible = ‘Y’ AND list_limit 0 ORDER BY cat_name

Maybe what I need to do is to start from scratch, load it all up from the security backup…

Same here… I keep checking the blog and the panel and nothing is happening. There aren’t any issues posted either, so I don’t quite see what the holdup is… To be honest I am getting a bit impatient. Ah, well… there’s always manual update…

I keep checking for your one-click installs to update to WP 2.1. Is there a holdup for some reason? Ella rocks! Plus the release has a lot of new goodies.
