Emergency panel downtime tonight (done)
Sorry for the short notice, but we will be taking the DreamHost Web Panel down tonight at 10PM PST (Mon Jan 29 22:00:00 PST 2007), for some emergency database maintenence. Downtime window is 2 hours, expected downtime within that window is 1 hour.
This will have no effect on customer sites, databases and email, all those services will remain online.
Update Mon Jan 29 23:18:42 PST 2007: The maintenence went smoothly, and all services are back online.

Thought you would all find this helpful during the downtime. I asked support how to log a request if the panel. Here is our exchange, including my last suggestion:
Thanks for this info. It would make things easier for customers who go to the status page to have a link on there to do this as well. I know when I have emailed support@dreamhost.com in the past, it bounced as I did not have a open support number in the header. If you added a contact support link from the status page, where people gripe when the panel is down, I think it would make it easier on us all.

Everything is down. They moved my account to a new server las night, and now nothing works. I am on Butler. This is getting extremely frustrating. It looks like it has been down for at least a couple hours now.

I can log in to the panel, but none of my information is showing up. I get the message, “This account is currently pending approval. If you’ve already completed the sign-up process please wait one business day… thanks!”

Uhhm seems if I use F’ing MS explorer I see my things but in Firefox or Netscape I don’t which sucks as MS explorer dang sucks… come on guys fix this one ….
