Cyrax
Posted (February 2nd, 2007 at 8:05 pm PST) by BrianCyrax lost it’s network card, so we’re moving it over to new hardware! We should have everything restored shortly. Sorry about the downtime.

You know you’re not allowed to post if you’re not complaining. I hate that. (See how I made it a complaint?)

It’s 1:28pm EST. I think Lemonhead just took a crap.
Any word on this?

Can you guys start posting what services the srevr in question provides? Right now I come to dreamhoststatus.com whenever things aren’t working, but I have no idea if the servers listed are the cause of my problems. Like right now (2/4/07 10:40am PST) my IMAP server seems to be down. Is Cyrax my IMAP server? who knows?

As I understand it the IMAP servers are shared. I do not know if the webmail servers are the same machines.

urgh! that’s the problem of the rack servers, they have onboard stuff, so if a thing crash all the whole hardware must be changed :(, like the way “together-we-burn” lol
But anyways as long as Sunnyd is online xD

Putty’s complaining that the SSH encryption key is changed - I have to assume this is a result of the different server, yes?
February 25th, 2007 at 3:37 am
Yes… My putty also reports an SSH encryption change….
Is it really cuz of the server change?

forgot to post how I fixed it:
learned that is was because of the server change, so no cause for alarm.

Glad this got fixed. Did we ever find out how common this error is? I’m wondering if it is the cause of some other DH downtime I’ve been experiencing.
