Panel Login

If you have trouble logging into the panel clear all of your panel.dreamhost.com and dreamhost.com cookies and try again. The table Lock today was very long due to the size of the session table and we cleared it out in order to bring the panel back online faster. In the end it was decided having to re login to the panel was better then having the panel down while old (mostly abandoned) session table data was loaded.

Is the panel problem related to my suddenly receiving duplicates of all incoming email for the last three days this evening, and/or to the overload on the sunnyd server right now? (’uptime’ is reporting loads well over 100, when they should be below ~3.) I submitted a ’system wide problem’ for the servers being unreachable, but I wish there were a faster way to notify them that the CPU usage is totally out of whack…

Please submit a support request about duplicate emails, as I have not heard of that happening to others. The web panel would not effect your email. I checked with the admins on call and sunnyd did have its load shoot up earlier and they fixed it. If a server has its load shoot up that high an automated service emails the admins on call.

I can log in to panel ok, but it’s taking several minutes to load each page in there (if not just timing out altogether).

Clearing cookies isn’t working. Have tried from several browsers/computers..

You may have to clear your cookies and then *exit and restart* your browser before you’ll be able to login again.

Even though you’ve deleted your cookies from disk some browsers will still keep them in memory until you relaunch them.

That explains the outage we saw last night and the really weird behavior afterwards. But it would have been nice to have SOME notification at DHstatus while it was down.

I too am still having issues logging into my panel. I’ve cleared cookies, reloaded my browser, tried from a different browser/PC. Still no luck.

    Seeing as I can’t log in, I can’t log a support ticket.
