I’m not sure it’s because the upgrade, but I know I never experience speeds > 90KB/s. Right now I have 320 kb/s which is my maximum download speed. I should test it with a cable at school to find out the actually download speed of my site. At any case whatever happend to Redondo in connection to Europe. It sure is great. Yay!

@jer: I never said paying for webhosting should be like going to the bank. I said that I take more time to go to the bank than I waited for my site to come back up.

Well, I should not be complaining too much but when your site is up and down for various periods, and a total of 12 hours of downtime in the past 48 hours, it gets a little depressing. I just hope all this stuff gets resolved because my viewership is getting eaten up one by one, as we speak.

And yes, my connection to my stuff is dead.

For me, the issue is that I was in the middle of doing actual work on my site when it went down. That was the most aggravating 10 minutes ever, when all I wanted to do was troubleshoot my problem, and I couldn’t because they were down AGAIN.

Oh, and I hate going to the bank. Paying for webhosting should be nothing like going to the bank.

My site was off for a few minutes earlier this afternoon, but nothing I would complain about, it may have been down for 10 minutes. I waste more time than that going to the bank.

It’s all about your perspective when dealing with these downtime. If you spend more time in a day going to the bank than the time your website is down, even if you’re making money off of it, that’s still not bad.

I am thrilled one of my new sites is loading much faster –critical since I have new prospects looking at my sites to evaluate my capability. PLEASE dont break this again!!!! I have been sweating bullets all week wondering if DH was gonna pull it out.

My site loads fine. I’m glad the upgrade was done, my site loads much faster now. GO DREAMHOST! And my site has only been down SHORTLY for the scheduled maintence. Downtime has been less than 25 minutes in the last 3 months - I have host-tracker and montastic monitoring my site.
