		<description>Panel is either responding with invalid HTML, error codes, or takes minutes to load a single page. After ~10 tries I only just now got the login page. Submitted the form and now waiting &#62;4 minutes for it to load. OK, now another error page.
Of course we can't file a ticket, and sending to support@dreamhost.com just bounces back if you don't have an existing ticket #.

Argh! DH, you have two problems here from a customer service perspective:
A) http://status.dreamhost.com/ has no mention of the panel problems. Aren't we supposed to rely on that to know about outtages?
B) You need a way for users to enter tickets when they can't get to the panel. What if I could not login or some other problem that was specific to me? Nobody else would be complaining but I'd have no avenue to report/debug the problem

		<description>I think you'll find that when the panel appears to be down, it isn't.  Do a tracert &#38; see where the problem is.  

DH uses the panel themselves, so if it were to go down, they'd already know and would be working on it.

The panel is its own thing and isn't connected to your account, so when you can't reach either, it's usually  a problem somewhere in between... which is where tracert comes in handy.</description>
