One-Click Install: Wordpress updated to version 2.2
Posted (May 16th, 2007 at 9:56 am PST) by charlieThis is a pretty hefty feature upgrade which you can read more about here:
As always, you can upgrade your current one-click install of Wordpress by logging in here:
https://panel.dreamhost.com/?tree=goodies.installer&
And then clicking on the “Upgrade to 2.2″ link to the right of your existing Wordpress install. If you have any problems with this upgrade breaking your themes, plugins, etc, feel free to write in to contact support via the Support Page and put “Attn: Charlie - Wordpress 2.2 Upgrade Problem” in the subject, and make sure to describe the problem as fully as possible.

Anybody else NOT see their one-click installs listed in the panel anymore? Mine is gone, so obviously I don’t even have the option to upgrade.
then upgrade manually?
I don’t see the upgrade option too.
Manual upgrading is the way to go–especially if you’ve done any mods. They have detailed instructions at wordpress.org. It’s quick and easy.
good:I don?t see the upgrade option too.
Upgrading via one-click or manually is bad news.
I’m so glad for this coming ON the day they released the new update so I could get it all working now as it’s nice to be able to use all these cool new features as soon as possible and make sure my old plugins don’t break.
You can do a one-click install by going to Goodies in the panel and clicking One-Click Installs. Then there’ll be a bunch of text and such and below that and above the pictures are your currently installed web programs.
There’s a column that says “Actions” can you can click Upgrade from there.
i also no longer see the upgrade option. i clearly remember seeing it there when i first started using dreamhost last week. No real dramas as i can upgrade manually, but if it was there and it worked then that would be nice.
Hey, i need an upgrade for my wordpress. but i heard that there’s a lot of problems with the wordpress 2.2, is there anyway we can downgrade from 2.2 IF we upgraded, and wanted to downgrade.
Don’t do the one-click upgrade.
Both my sites went down immediately and dreamhost support is unable to identify the real problem, preferring to blame me for modifying 2 perfectly working blogs.

I can’t prove this… but I have a theory that Wordpress upgrade release dates are somehow based on the day that I finally get around to upgrading everything to the previous version.
