Why do they think anyone is going to get to their job any quicker if they post up here? If Dreamhost had any ethics in business, they wouldn't give a guy here any more attention than they would someone who uses the support line. Just because it's public doesn't warrant you more attention. And since Dreamhost appears to do that, I would say that they seem to definitely be one of those companies with a good ethical model. (sigh)

There are 2 possible main reasons for all these problems: bad gear or bad button-pushers. Bad gear? Replace it. Bad button-pushers? Teach them how to do it, or replace them as well.

But please do not say it’s fixed when it’s not. This is probably worse than having a problem you can’t fix. You can’t restore backups of your credibility.
