From what I’ve seen, sites are having trouble with PHP. Plain HTML pages work fine, but PHP anything is slow as crap.

My sites with shared IPs are fine, but ones with fixed IPs are down. Check both!

“I thought that was the point of this status page, so if your sites are down you don’t have to get frustrated & keep refreshing and wondering what’s going on and having to contact support etc.”
No, that isn’t the point of this status page. This is a place for system-wide announcements. If you are having an issue, the FIRST place to go is the Contact Support part of the web panel. If the panel is down, try sending an email to support@dreamhost.com from the email address that is registered with your account.
If you haven’t reported to support that your site is down, how can you expect any action? DH doesn’t monitor the comments here - the ONLY way to make sure that your problem is being looked at it to report through proper channels.
You should be happy that they choose to tell us anything at all. Most hosting companies don’t.

Well I contacted the support some minutes ago because I noticed that my side is somewhere between being very very slow and down. Now I read, that the problem is already known and still existing. But why the hell does this page say, that the problem is resolved. I looked up all known places to find information. Am I really expected to lookup all comments to find the information i need???

Most of comments are ridiculous. My sites had over 99% uptime lat year and if I had any problem I was contacting Dreamhost and answers have been usually pretty quick, so instead wasting your time here, contact support team, just like @brasscrest suggested.

What is so hard to understand about this: The panel has absolutely no connection with your sites being down.
?
Some of you would literally think that if your site went down while there was a commercial on TV for Burger King, that there would be a connection between the two. And when you thought that, it wouldn’t be any more/less stupid than when you continue to blame it on every other unrelated thing you can think of.
You also need to learn how to work the little search box at wiki.dreamhost.com. Some of the problems people ask about here have been answered hundreds of times, so people take the time to write up an article about it.
Example: If those of you that typed “bad_httpd_conf” here had typed it in the wiki search box instead, you’d have a solution to your problem.
Want discussion? Then why the hell would you be cluttering up the comments section of a blog instead of going to the forums, which are there for that very reason?
It is so simple. There are always 5 choices of where to go for different reasons: Status site, blog, forum, wiki, or submitting a ticket to support.
Is it really that hard to figure out which sites are best for which purposes?
Of course, I’m not addressing the large number of people that are just trying to turn this into a useless link farm… but just the people that actually have something to say or ask.
Also: Submitting a ticket to support, then waiting a whole 10 minutes before whining here is NOT going through the proper channels. There is no reason to say that support hasn’t answered unless 24 hours have passed.

In my site MySQL is having some problems

Have you checked with a psychic or palm reader to see if they know what the problem is? If they can’t help out, maybe you could try contacting Dreamhost support and see if they can be of some assistance.
