Sholsinger: We use pretty standard supermicro 1u rack mount cases. Halt the machine, unplug cables, unscrew one front hold-it-in-the-rack screw, slide out on rails, pop top, ram->in, top on, reverse process, server turns on as soon as power is restored for automated bootup!

Cable management arms are for wusses! (And people with fancy-pants servers that have hot-swap ram/pci/cpus.) Amusingly, the longest part of the process is shutdown and bootup. The actual ram installation itself takes ~90-120 total seconds.

Quit pressuring them, they are frantically moving about and tripping over wires and such, causing problems on other servers.

DSK, that is terrible on DH's part. Make sure you have submitted a real support request with them via the DH panel. I would also suggest using BlueHost or getting a VPS plan. Problem with VPS is that it gets very expensive quickly with many domains.

I DEMAND A "MESSAGE" WHEN SERVER IS SHUTDOWN, something like: YEAH, WE ARE DREAMHOST, SERVER SHUTDOWN OR PROBLEMS AGAIN. Some message IS NEEDED.
