Hummer getting new hardware
We have not been able to get hummer to reply back to us, so we’re getting it on brand new shiny hardware. This should take less than an hour to complete. We’re very sorry for the downtime, but we’re going to get it back running very quickly.
Update (6:53PM): The failover process is complete, and the server is now operating on new hardware. Everything appears to be working normally now. If you encounter any issues with your sites or related services, please contact support. -Christian

Hi,
I see that there are a number of posts recently about hardware failures. I’m curious to know what is the medium lifetime of these hardwares ? I mean, a server that is failing after running since 3-4 years is understandable, but an harddisk that is failing after running for only one week is not good.
I think that would be nice to know the life time of the replaced hardware.
Regards.
