Sylvester getting new hardware

The shared MySQL database server sylvester is breathing its last, and right now an admin is working very quickly to get another machine online to take its place. Expected downtime for sylvester database users is around two hours. We will update this post as sylvester’s replacement progresses and when it is back online. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Update Mon Jul 30 17:53:02 PDT 2007: The move is complete, all databases on sylvester are back online.
