stewarts getting new hardware
Posted (July 31st, 2007 at 11:58 pm PST) by kitchenThe machine ’stewarts’ looks to have a faulty network card which is causing major instability in the machine. We are going to move stewarts over to new hardware.
This process will take about 30 minutes to an hour. We will post an update here when it has been completed.

You know, it would be really fucking nice if DH would bother to report on all the screwed up hardware/servers they have. I’ve been waiting a few HOURS for my server to quit being the slowest piece of shit on the internet. I won’t be staying with this shitty ass host for much longer. Just over 6 months with DH, haven’t had a week go by without downtime, as soon as my year is up, I’m fucking off this crapass host. Fucking pathetic way of scamming people out of their money. No goddamn wonder they won’t give any credit for all the time their servers are down… they’d be fucking bankrupt by now.
And now to wait to here from the DH staff’s sockpuppets/fanboys, telling me to piss off because DH is the best thing around.
And then it goes down completely. What a fucking joke of a goddamn host. What the hell, is it a group of monkies running the damn place? DH, you’re fucking worthless.
Piss off because DH is the best thing since sliced bread….
seriously though, if your that pissed about the service then quit, i personally could give three shits of a giggle if you stay or go. if you go its just more server for me.
I’m sure Dreamhost will go from one of the largest hosts in the world to completely broke, overnight, just because of one illiterate spammer.

The way I figure it, assuming you were bright enough to have used a Promo Code when you signed up, that “year” that you are waiting to be “up” might have cost you around $23.00, which doesn’t seem to me to be worth nearly the aggravation it seems to be causing you.
Giving yourself a stress related stroke to try to “get your money’s worth” out of $23.00 is about as intelligent as hanging making an ass out of yourself on a blog (which, I guess, explains your situation in both instances!)

you want them to give you a credit when you paid just a little over $20 a year for it, do you realize that if they gave you a credit, it would probably be less then penny. Go find another host to whine about, you are probably the guy making the server slow for all of us anyways since you are complaining about it being down so much.
