11:00PM. Where are you getting 7AM from?
I’m on snocap and everything seems to be okay.

They’re obviously in a different time zone.
Kudos to DH on this one - I’m a bit amazed that they moved that many servers and not one person has yet posted a complaint.

this has been happening a lot with dreamhost in the past few months! :S

my whole site isn’t working…
September 13th, 2007 at 12:52 pm
2 sites dead… same server. looks like it isn’t quite resolved, or some other issue…
September 13th, 2007 at 1:32 pm
wow, all 4 of my sites are down. 2 of them being business websites!
September 13th, 2007 at 1:48 pm

September 13th, 2007 at 2:45 pm

September 13th, 2007 at 2:58 pm

All freakin’ day - I’m on ralphie and I can’t get FTP list to show, page loads are horrible, sites are down or take 10 mins to load. I’m a hair’s breadth away from dropping DH. I’ve had enough of this crap.

Why am I not amazed that Dreamhost’s own site http://dreamhost.com won’t even load and none of our 7 sites hosted will load. I can log into the webmail and try to send myself an email but then it comes back undeliverable. I liken this to cutting off the branch that you are sitting on… how do they make things break so amazingly #$!@#$!@#$@#

All sites crash - same here.
September 13th, 2007 at 9:39 pm
All sites down as of this afternoon (pacific time). No access to email in any way (IMAP/POP/Webmail). No web. Can’t access dreamhost.com or panel.dreamhost.com to report the problem. But for some reason http://status.dreamhost.com/feed/ works but isn’t showing any current issue.
One of the servers I am on is ugh but can’t remember the others.
September 13th, 2007 at 9:41 pm
But, I can ping all three domains, as well as dreamhost.com, with intermittent packet loss up to 33%.
September 13th, 2007 at 10:25 pm
Update - I can web and FTP to my sites, but no email. Web access is still pretty lagged, but I might be having ISP (Comcast) issues today. Getting freaky slow 400kbps down speeds from Seattle and LA, yet freaky fast 11,000kpbs (yes, 11,000) from San Fran. And a traceroute to dreamhost.com shows me going through Seattle to get to so. i don’t know. And yet I would imagine I’m going through Seattle for SanFran as well?
Oh to work in a NOC again!
September 14th, 2007 at 1:48 am
heheheh very funny. 3 of my sites are down again. ohhh the joy.
September 14th, 2007 at 5:22 am
