Just writing to let everyone know that this doesn’t appear to have affected our San Francisco servers at all, nor our LA datacenters (didn’t feel it at all in LA)

The webserver triton has experienced some problems and is being moved onto new hardware. I’ll post an update when finished.
Update; 3:54pm: I’ve just finished the move and triton is now up and working. If you have sites hosted on triton and they are having any problems please contact support.
We are experiencing network problems at the moment. This will account for for downtime, delay, etc. that you are encountering when accessing your site, email, etc. Our Admins are currently working on the issue as I type. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Please check back for future updates.

One of our file servers for the spacey cluster has a dead battery! It will be going down around 10pm PDT for a replacement. Downtime should be no longer than 5 minutes.
Thursday October 25th at 9:00PM PDT we will be performing maintenance on the following services.

The web server, LeSabre is currently having hardware issues of an as-of-yet undetermined nature. We will be failing it over to new hardware and posting updates as available. We apologize for the inconvenience. This will only affect users on the server, “LeSabre”. Email service will not be affected…

The colocation facility that houses our secondary name server, ns2.dreamhost.com is currently experiencing some network problems, causing some servers to appear down, or unavailable.
We’re currently working with our provider to fix this issue, and will post more information as soon as we’re updated by by their command center.
