Troubles with Janky

We’re having some performance problems with one of the file servers in the Janky cluster. You can check your cluster by clicking the Account Status link at the upper right of the Webpanel, it’s the Email Server. We’ve got an admin headed in right now to work on it and hopefully get it fixed asap.

    You guys need to nuke the janky cluster from orbit. I bet it’s the name that’s causing all these problems.

    The second time this happened, I switched to another hosting service. And am so counting my lucky stars at this point, cause I was not looking forward to getting shit from my boss again for email not working.

    I feel bad for y’all.

    janky has been troublesome since we moved to it two weeks ago. time to pull an Office Space on the friggin cluster!

    Oh i have been placed on the worse servers. Thetis has been having problems, network problems, mail problems (i am on Janky too). Please fix it for longer than a week!

    Thanks for letting me know about the mail server. Hope everything goes well. It is nice to be informed that there may be issues with our main server. However, it is in your best interests (as in happy customers) to try to maintain the mail server to a reliable state. Mail servers can be used perhaps more than some of the websites from day to day requests.

    Very, very broken.

    As far as I can tell mail is received and readable in webmail ok.

    Forwarding is very spotty…about 1/3 of my mail accounts are forwarding properly. Others just receive into webmail and don’t forward.

    Where do I call and yell about moving mail service off this server????

    We’ve been having continual daily problems for one month now.

    If it isn’t resolved for good in the next 48 hours, I’ve been instructed to find another host on Monday.

    Any recommendations? It grieves me, after seven years, half a dozen accounts, and thousands of dollars spent, that I’ve got to go find someone new.
