We are currently experiencing system wide intermittent problems with sending email via smtp. We are working to fix, and will post more information on the status page as soon as we have it.
We believe this issue to be resolved and smtp to be working.

Looks like the WordPress team has decided to put out one last update before the new year. WordPress 2.3.2 contains bug fixes and a few crucial security updates, so it’s suggested you update as soon as possible via the “One-Click Installs” section of the web panel.
The clock is having some issues with skew, sometimes getting as much as 3 seconds before syncing. The battery is getting replaced, which should clear up this issue. That should happen at 9:30PST tonight. Downtime shouldn’t be more than 15 minutes.

The primary file server on the ‘blingy’ cluster is currently having some problems and is causing problems with all of the blingy cluster. We are working on it and should have an update shortly.

The database server rintintin, which serves the spacey cluster is currently down, and not responding to remote controls. An admin is heading into the data center right now to fix it.
Rintintin has been moved onto new hardware and it up and working now. I apologize for the outage.
Jax died and came back up with a kernel panic, so I’m moving it to new hardware right now. This should take no longer than an hour.
