poseidon is sinking

Because of this we’re going to fail it over to new hardware. This process should take around 30 minutes, and we will update here again when it is completed.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience!
Update: the hardware change has completed successfully and services are now all up and running. If you are experiencing any issues, please contact support!

Thank You, for the quick response during support, and for handling the issue so smoothly. Although apparently from my emails the server was going down for about 5 hours or more before any post on the issue. My simple server monitored pick this up, you guys should implement a method to know this before hand. Issues should be resolved before the customer, even notices.
Nonetheless great support response, and handling of the issue.
Hope the problems with poseidon are fixed forever now…. 
i am sorry for dreamhost having problems with the server poseiden..but i must admit…seeing the “poseiden is sinking” headline…is funny. dang..dreamhost has some great minds working for them…keep em coming!!!

Also, your mythology is wrong. Poseidon was the Greek god of the sea and a male. (Although in ancient Greece, two men living as man and wife certainly wasn’t unusual.) Poseidon was actually an enemy of Odysseus and tried, with varying degrees of success, to stymie Odysseus throughout the “Odyssey.” (Check Wikipedia.)
