Jax needs new hardware
Jax died and came back up with a kernel panic, so I’m moving it to new hardware right now. This should take no longer than an hour.
I’m very sorry about the inconvenience, I’ll try to get you all back up and running very quickly!
Update: It’s coming back up and seems to be running smoothly. Please contact support if you are still having problems related to the jax hardware failure.

I just started hosting with you, and installed Wordpress (on Jax). Seems to be running really slowly (clicking on links like ‘uncategorized’ or “login” results in up to 10 second delays before the page refreshes). Is this due to the problems with Jax?

by being a cheap-ass dick and relying on a $10/month host for a business that could make you 300k in a day perhaps?
If you’re making that kinda cash, you should get a $500/month host with guaranteed 10 minutes response times or quite bitching about it.. you get what you pay for

Dudes, I was kidding. We *used* to have a bunch of people that would claim to be losing $1,000 a minute for downtime and we used to say the same things you are.

I believe DH represents a true bargain. I AM concerned, however, about 3 outages in 3 days–12/20 for about an hour; 12/21-22 for about 5 hours; and 12/22 again, for about an hour. This after the long planned outage for moving servers to improve service.
Make that 4 outages–just went down for about 2 1/2 hours on 12/26. What is up?
