LAX connectivity issues
We are currently experiencing problems with connectivity at our LAX facility. This is affecting the following clusters:
blingy
frisky
spacey
swarthy
looney
as well as dedicated server customers.
We have our network engineers looking at the problem and hope to have a resolution shortly.
Update: things appear to be back to normal. We are still looking into the issue to try to figure out what caused the network outage.

spacey (my email server) was down but my site acted like the mysql server was down (hotdog)… are they in the same cluster or is that just a random act of bad luck?

We’ve had almost a week of problems with ‘looney’ and failed connects to our mysql server ‘dino’. I’ll send off a support request bas the service this ‘year’ has been rubbis

Only php sites were down for me, static html pages worked fine :S

You said it is fixed. FYI: It’s still broken. Hope you guys can fix it! I am not the owner of the board that is broken.

Things are still VERY slow here. Pages load, but it’s taking forever.

i think the database server daffy exford is having problems. not able to connect to database at all.
i have reported the matter to support. any others having problems?

I think daffy is included in the list of servers messed up a bit. Had problems all night long.

I still have yet (about 16+ hours later) to hear anything back about my mySQL servers and if this is actually the problem or not. Not a single courtesy email or phone call. I will admit, I’m pissed. Downtime=unacceptable. Period

me either still down, no emails I have been down for 9+ hours that I know about. I have already signed up for eapps.com hosting, they have live phone support and have a service level agreement for max 4hr turnaround of major issues. Just waiting for dreamhost to fix the problem here so I can move my DB over and cancel these idiots.
