Randy cluster file server issue
Posted (March 1st, 2008 at 4:28 am PST) by marieOne of our file servers on randy cluster is having issues this morning. Our admins are on it and it’s getting fixed right now.
This affects the following web servers:

Update 5am: Should be fixed now. The file server is back up and I’m just cleaning up peon loads and such. If you are still having issues, feel free to write in about it.

You *might* be able to fix that yourself, JP:
Seltzer and/or Bandit is down

Is this the result of an outage? My other site on Birdo is fine.
The main Dreamhost panel also seems to be down, currently.
Anyone else seeing this?
Yeah, I can’t get the panel to come up, either.

and i can’t load the web panel to file a report and when i send an email to support@dreamhost.com it just gets bounced back saying i need to use the webpanel…
I just got this error when I tried to access the control panel…no dice and both hosted sites are down..As a brand new customer, this kinda sucks

The site is still down, although it was up briefly last night about midnight PST.

Still no answer to my trouble ticket.
my site is still NOT working.. this shouldn’t be on my end it was working just the other day.
It hasn’t been working for 3 days (but I have a known Comcast problem) and now it’s not working for other users 2 miles from me trying to also send out emails. My unusual comcast problem (they’re sending it to national headquarter support….) may now be impacting the users who live 2 miles away but I do have to say all my other comcast email problems have cleared up except this one.
dreamhost is down now.. including panel.dreamhost.com
so they are back into their learning process.. everyone was wondering how come they are not pulling the plugs off this month for a while.. how can everyone be peaceful.. ??
The panel is never down when people here claim it is and it has no connection to your own sites being down.
And most of the time when someone here claims their site is down here, it isn’t.
Unless your keyboard is hooked up to your Dreamhost server, you probably have something called the internet between the two, which occasionally has problems.

You should work traceroute into YOUR learning process.
Any know why DH has repeatedly rebooted yoshi and now my http isn’t running after an uptime of 20 minutes? I’ve opened two tickets already.
DH is just getting worse and worse.. i’m researching other hosts right now
oh maybe if enough people leave it will get better for the remaining people
