Problem with central services (panel,webmail, etc..) and spunky cluster
We are currently experiencing problems with one of our internal firewall machines that is causing problems with our central services connecting to our customer database. This problem is expected to be fixed within 20 minutes, we apologize for the trouble and will update this post as soon as it is resolved or more information becomes available as to the cause.
UPDATE 2:40 PM PDT **
Problems with central services have been resolved. Panel , webmail and other central services should be working as usual. There are still a few problems with the spunky clusters that may be causing outages for customers websites/ftp. These problems are also being fixed at this time and this post will be updated when those are fixed.
UPDATE 4:39 PM PDT **
All of the networking problems and spunky cluster problems have been resolved. We apologize again for the outage and if you are still having trouble feel free to contact support with the service you are having problems with.
UPDATE 5:11 PM PDT **
There have been reports of problems with the spunky cluster , we will re-open this status post until we have more information to what caused this problem. If you are on the spunky cluster and are experiencing downtime it is still due to the networking issue.

What you’d have to die on now for our sins would be beyond a Hellraiser film’s worth of torture. Glad we have electricity and all this superfluous technology to waste our time on, instead of getting a real job using our brains and brawn. You’d have to be a 2-bit hack, with serious insecurity issues to be seriously bothered about an economical hosting company going down for a bit. But it makes me all horny to see you guys battle it out…like real men.

This is inexcusable. For two days now the realtors who are my clients have not received e-mails. I have been getting calls about every 20 minutes. And now, I see that you have this issue listed as a MEDIUM severity issue.
I have been with DH for over 4 years now. I have multiple current sites with you and have had many more over those four years.
After the billing fiasco at the beginning of the year, and now this, I am at wits end.
Please forward this directly to the CEO of your company and to the appropriate person to assist with the migration to a new host, and with the releasing of all automatic debits and payments we have set up with you.

At the very least, can you change the error message so that it doesn’t tell people to “contact the webmaster/ tech support immediately to have them rectify this”? Since, in most cases, the webmaster is utterly unable to do so.

problems “resolved” and yet i can’t upload files via ftp to site…. its still very slow (and has been for the past 3-4 weeks)…. u guys need to do serious thinking on spunky.. splitting spunky to smaller clusters is definitely a good idea.
