Migrating Agnus to new hardware
Agnus was running into networking issues all night and we are putting its hardware out of its misery. Currently one of our senior techs is working on failing it over to new hardware now. It shouldn’t take any longer than 30 to 45 minutes to complete and be up and running again. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date as things progress.

Did anyone else read that as Angus? I was thinking that they had started naming servers after the members of AC/DC….

Yes, I read that as Angus. Probably because the server’s name is typically spelled “Agnes.”
And the punctuation police are on the way to arrest the original author for using an apostrophe for the possessive pronoun “its.”

The database servers (atleast that connects from manchester) are down taking down all our DB powered websites. Any support staff awake ?

I read this as Angus too and thought a bull was running lose in their network center…. only for a few seconds!
Maybe it was their new motto. “We charge straight at the problem and make it worse.”
