I do not care how much the cost, I have sent 4 emails to them asking for updates and explaining how I cannot post to my blog and had something I was suppose to be announcing on it yesterday. Am I the only one that got refunds for the last outage on Blingy, and I can be sure they aren't going to let this go again without reimbursing us... DH is better ten any of prior hosts... and by far the cheapest of all of them!!! DH has been pretty good so far. a whole lot better than most of the other hosting places i've tried. i use DH for personal use not business. the company i work with uses a direct connection through verizon and all the hardware belongs to, is operated, maintained, and monitored by ourselves. yet still we have the occasional outage. yes, we lose money when that happens. but the point is, you are on the internet. it does have issues occasionally. i haven't found a computer yet that hasn't at some point or other broken down regardless of how many high end technicians are watching it 24x7. it happens. so whining, complaining, name-calling, cussing, and generally making a fool out of yourselves isn't exactly going to help the situation. ok, i understand you wanted someone other than yourselves to blame so you went with a paid host instead of running your own webservers and dns nameservers. doesn't mean you have to act like a bunch of 3 year olds when the service goes down for an hour or two. personally, if i was in charge of DH, i would hand you back the remaining money on your contract, give you a piece of paper that has your personal data and give you a kick in your rear ends to get you out the door and then sue you all for libel. however that's not exactly business savvy and i doubt that DH will actually do that even as much as i'd like to see it happen. so go ahead, stick your feet a little further down your throats and sit on your hands so that the rest of the world can actually have some peace without having to listen to your constant whining. *sigh* i feel like i just got done lecturing a bunch of little kids. and thank you DH, for your prompt response to the service issue and for resolving it so quickly. --Joe does no one actually understand how the internet works? everyone’s off complaining about how horrible DH is….. duh.
