@edel - this was the day before yesterday, on top of that the central db is independent of the db’s your site uses.

Hopefully you’ve reported it through the panel (now that it works again) and gotten it fixed by now.

i having had any problems so far its been a great web server but just wondering was this why my login/register pages wouldn’t connect to databases?

i am experiencing database issues - creating the database is fine but they are not linking to the tables - is this why?

Maybe he’s lazy. Or maybe he found out the truth: As far as cheap webhosts, DreamHost is pretty good!

They don’t have perfect uptime, that is true. But you’re paying $10 / month if you’re on a yearly plan.

Media Temple is only a bit better, or debatably worse based on what I’ve seen when I check their status page, but they’re $20 / month.

I’ve heard great things about Mosso, but they’re $100 / month.
