2 janky file servers rebooted
Posted (June 7th, 2008 at 7:36 pm PST) by kitchenTwo of the file servers serving the janky cluster have rebooted themselves due to a hung process working on the filesystem. They are both back up and serving files again, and we are working on cleaning things up. We will post an update when we feel everything is back to normal.
Update: one of the two filers had not saved its running configuration and was missing an IP address so it was not actually serving files to servers in the cluster. This caused mounts to fail and apaches to fail. This has been resolved and things are coming up. We’ll post the all clear shortly!
Update: everything appears to be back to normal. If you are still having issues please contact support!

my email server is janky.. but my web is ajax.. but none of my sites or ftp work.. is this the problem?
yeah, i have problems on my hosting (web pages), the server is midas and doesn’t open the pages…

Site is down, losing millions, dreamhost sucks, too cheap to move and too dumb to post a support ticket, etc.
I didn’t even noticed… I’m not even sure if one of my sites on Janky was down… I’ll have to check on the webpanel…
