Janky having problems

Posted (June 29th, 2008 at 3:58 am PST) by Brian

There seems to be an issue that’s effecting the janky cluster at the moment. We’re still investigating what is happening, and will update this post with more info shortly. We apologize for the problems!

Update: 04:35 AM PDT

Looks like a file server was having problems, and caused home directories that were mapped to specific locations, to disappear. This has since been fixed, however, the apache web servers that server domains need to be reconfigured. This takes a little time, so domains effected by this should be coming back online in groups. We’re scheduling these reconfigures as fast as our system will let us, so we aim to have everything fixed soon!

Hi, Is the “Heracles” server on this Janky cluster? All my webs sites are down right now on this server.

I’ve posted a ticket on the support site.

Regards

Ruben

all my sites were down. back up now

is Punch also down ?

My sites was down···

Hmmm, my sites are up and running again, but some other domains seem to give a file index list now!

Hopefully no hidden information is revealed this way (clicking a subfolder would probably get people into the root of some website, or run into some index.html file or index.php script), but maybe it would be better to unplug those servers from the internet until Apache is reconfigured?

All my sites and up again, but the responding time it’s so slow…. any issue about that?

Is juniormint down too?

I didn’t even noticed the downtime… I’m not sure if my site was down at all since I got a lot of people requesting information throughout the day.
