MySQL Downtime
Posted (July 18th, 2008 at 6:38 pm PST) by RalphWe are currently noticing some downtime with MySQL servers. Our administration team is looking at the issue right now. We are experiencing heavy packet loss on one of our MySQL racks in the data center. We will update this post with more information as soon as we can.
Update 7:24pm - We have fixed the issue. It appears that some network monitoring software we were using got a bit out of control and clogged the network. We have disabled it for now and service has returned. Sorry about that.

Keep up the good work!
ok looks like it’s good
Is this perchance causing WEIRD problems with One-Click (Easy) Mediawiki installs, that create this error message on trying to submit an edit:
Sorry! We could not process your edit due to a loss of session data. Please try again. If it still doesn’t work, try logging out and logging back in.
(Which shows up after doing what it suggests, and trying different browsers, etc)
Mine’s working now, thanks. Would have been nice to see the acknowledgement before I discovered the problem, though

Still got problems but good luck fixing it.
Works now, thanks
Can someone please kill the runaway process on caymen? Support tickets don’t seem to be working and it has been pegged for 18 hours now. Thanks….
This issue is NOT resolved on our end!
Something else died!!
first we had ISE trouble on our site two hours ago … now webmail won’t come up … “connection reset” errors if anything … reported it more than 10 minutes ago but still nothing here on the main page? is it JUST us?????
site up, webmail down on all my domains monday at almost 2p EST…
It’s not just you ‘wsb’, I think it’s everyone at the moment…or a big chunk of us.
Mysql os my site forosdefutbol.es is down now :S

My site is back up. In the future though…you all should not mark a ticket resolved prior to it being resolved. I was in the admin panel and noticed my outage was marked as fixed and I was about to write back and ask WTH? Don’t mark the ticket till the site is back up, causes less confusion that way lol.
