Due to very popular demand, we’ll be testing out a switch from mod_fastcgi to mod_fcgid for a small subset of users on Monday. This will _only_ affect those of you on the following machines who make use of our FastCGI support.

The network interface which is used for filer traffic is flapping like crazy. Numerous attempts to reconfigure and restart networking have proved unsuccessful. The machine is being moved to new hardware, estimated downtime is 1 hour.

We experienced an outage on the central database the handles WebMail. Downtime lasted 30 - 40 minutes. Our Admins have restarted the database server. This appears to have resolved the problem. Scion was powercycled to recover from the filer issue on frisky and didn’t come back. Currently in the process of being moved to new hardware.
