Short MySQL downtime on 08/12
Posted (August 9th, 2008 at 3:36 am PST) by SandonThe MySQL servers listed below will be going down shortly for maintenance at around 2 AM PDT on August 12th for maintenance. The maintenance should only cause about 10 minutes of down-time (total) but even if things go badly should not take more than 30 minutes to complete so there should not be more than 30 minutes of total downtime.
Here is the list of the MySQL servers:
aslan, burbank, cassandra, dandilo, figaro, garfield, guinness, hobbes, luna, meow, mimsey, natty, orion, roary, rumple, snowball, stimpy, toonce
Update: 02:25 AM PDT
All the servers have been back up for about 10 minutes now so the total downtime was about 15 minutes which was a bit more than expected but well below 30 minutes. If you are still having any problems connecting to MySQl please contact support.

How do I find out which machine is my mysql server on? On panel?
See the status info link in the upper right
im on cinnamon (not listed) but my database is down too. 
mine, also not listed on that list is also down.
Mine’s not on the list (bounty) and mine are all down too
My site went down at about 2am PDT. MySQL server is on puss (love the name!), not listed above, though…
Btw, love the post above describing severity as ‘Low.’ Might be low for the engineers over there, but it’s ‘High’ for me over here!
relax neville. there’s a reason why they’re down at 2am instead of 2pm. looks like cinnamon is back up for me. cheers.
@fm understand that timing although I’m in the UK so 2am PDT is 10am here. Still, looks like maintenance done as my site is now up again.
The only worrying thing when something like this happens is when the status lists all the servers affected - and mine isn’t on the list. So you do get a bit alarmed.
