File Server Upgrades 2008-08-26
Posted (August 26th, 2008 at 8:02 pm PST) by PatrickTonight we will be shooting for three! First up is sweetums at 10pm. Following will be clean up from last week (gonzo). If time permits, we will round it out with waldorf. Check back for updates.

Unfortunately sweetums is doing the same thing janice was last week, and cannot be upgraded at this time. It is back up and serving files. The gonzo upgrade is starting now.

Gonzo is progressing nicely and should be back and upgraded in about an hour. The problem with sweetums has also been resolved, so we’ll be starting that back up now.

Gonzo has been up for about an hour now and sweetums just came back up! Both are serving files properly. The waldorf upgrade will start in about 10 minutes.

My sites are completely unreachable for 10 hours.
All my sites are down.
Only ping command is working, ssh, ftp, web and email do not work. I’m on postac.

postac is directly affected by the gonzo upgrade. You have about an hour to go… 
wow, what terrible timing for me :/ I rely on dreamhost as my remote svn and it appears svn is now unreachable on my box (proteus). I have an important time-sensitive project due Thursday so I hope these upgrades go without a hitch…

proteus is not affected by these upgrades. Please contact support with whatever errors you are receiving with subversion.
Where was the warning about this happening today? Should I have received an email about it?
Seems to be better now, but access to the sites is quite slow…
Hum. In fact it is more than slow… It’s broken again
is my site affected by this? its file server is grater. and my site is down. contacted support already, no response for more than 2 hours now. what’s happening?
