try that.

I frequently click on the discussions here under the Dreamhoststatus page, just for the humor of it. I’m finally posting something!

I find it, frankly, quite hilarious that EVERY SINGLE TIME there’s a post here from Dreamhost, there are a bunch of people instantly saying “My sites are down!” or “Been down for a week!”

Funny that in order to post that, you have to type RIGHT NEXT to where it says “Comments posted here may not be viewed by DreamHost staff at all. Please note that this is not a way to contact DreamHost.”

It’s always good for a few laughs.

I’m glad you get a kick out of the constant outages. I love coming in on a monday to a bunch of broken services. Hilarious. Not.

@Bob
Nobody likes outages. But I agree with Andy that I also find it amusing that people comment immediately that their ’site is down’ on an issue UNRELATED TO and/or that occurred [hours, days, weeks] BEFORE the Status post they are commenting on.

What they should be doing is submitting a ticket so their problem can be addressed. While it is sometimes useful to know if others are having the same problem that you do, posting a ‘HELP ME!!’ comment here does no good at all.

I especially like those who state their site is down because of a maintenance announcement scheduled IN THE FUTURE…

@Any DH people who might be reading – please be a little more careful about what category you use when you post. This one was posted under “MySQL Outages”, which it was not. This affects what people see in the RSS feeds.

@brasscrest – The Private Servers in question may be MySQL Private Servers.

FYI… this problem is not resolved…. I have been down off and on all day.

Site is down- same as webmail- can you help?
Victoria

My site is down, oh no, again!! :( And I don’t even seem to have any relation to the issue in view!

Ha! Already up and running. You guys are very quick :)
