Postal filer problem
Posted (March 6th, 2010 at 9:09 am PST) by robertOne of our filers, cutter, has been experiencing issues this morning. The following machines are affected and users on them can/will experience high load or unavailable data while we work on the issue:

Is there an ETA on this problem? I’m a new user and hoping this isn’t a common problem. Thanks! 
@TH this is not a common problem; Dreamhost has been pretty much trouble-free for me for the past 2 years, but hardware failures happen.
@TH, don’t worry about it. Dreamhost has great uptime and is always helpful. The timings just bad for you. Thanks Dreamhost. 
Is all of Dreamhost currently down? All of my sites are down, Dreamhost.com is unreachable, and my Dreamhost Control Panel is unreachable. So, there’s no way to contact support. But I don’t see any mention of it on this status site. Anyone else having these problems?
All dreamhost is down, my websites, control panel, all is unreachable, What happened ????
Now all is up, for about 1 hour was down.
Mine just came back up. Things were down at least 4 hours. 
My sites were down at first and later I experienced slow performance and an occasional error 500. Now it seems everything is fine and fast.
My sites are all currently down, loading as blank pages. Have contacted support, but haven’t heard anything yet.
Not sure if this is this is related but I’m getting this:
Lost connection to MySQL server at ‘reading authorization packet’, system error: 0
on alouettes which isn’t in the list.
