It looks like one of our web-server ‘exodus’ was unresponsive and had not came back up after we attempted to power-cycle it remotely. Right now an admin is en-route to the data center to check out the situation.

It looks like we may be having problems with our central databases again. It’s effecting our control panel, WebMail and DreamHost Apps. We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing. The admin team is looking into this now to try to get it resolved as quickly as possible.

The database is back up now and I’ve restarted the panel webservers. Everything should be back to normal but if you’re still experiencing issues pleast contact technical support.
One of our central databases is having issues right now. DreamHost administrators are troubleshooting the issue right now. We will update this space with more information as it becomes available. This affects:

Looks like the central database servers are at it again. The control panel (https://panel.dreamhost.com/) as well as the WebMail interfaces (SquirrelMail and RoundCube) are currently down (temporarily). Our database guru is investigating the situation now and hopes to get it back up again as quickly as possible. We’ll post updates as soon as more information [...]
The WebPanel just began having issues. We are on top of it and diagnosing the issue. This should be temporary but we will keep this space updated. This outage will also affect webmail (Squirrelmail and Roundcube) as well as DHapps.

Our central database that controls panel has crashed again and is recovering right now. This is a very large database so it can take some time, but we are estimating that it should complete in an hour or less. We will update this post as things progress.
