Due to an intermittent problem with the mail server that processes outgoing messages from the web servers some messages may be significantly delayed in their delivery. Right now we are experiencing some slowdowns sending emails to Google’s GMail service. This only appears to be affecting mail being forwarded through our systems, and not sending directly through an email client using our mail servers. We’re currently experiencing very high loads on janky mail servers. This is causing your mail to be slow or inaccessible. You may be affected if your mail server is listed as ‘Janky’ under Account Status in the control panel (upper right corner).

We will be migrating webmail to a bigger and better load balancer this evening. Webmail will be up on both its old (current) IPs and the new IPs at the same time so there shouldn’t be any downtime related to this change.

Unfortunately our primary mail load balancer crashed and rebooted causing mail problems to all the mail servers listed above. Our secondary load balancer took over but needed a manual update to get going. Everything is coming back now and we’ll keep an eye on the load balancer.
