LAX connectivity issues

We are currently experiencing problems with connectivity at our LAX facility. This is affecting the following clusters:
blingy
frisky
spacey
swarthy
looney
as well as dedicated server customers.
We have our network engineers looking at the problem and hope to have a resolution shortly.

blingy issues

The primary file server on the ‘blingy’ cluster is currently having some problems and is causing problems with all of the blingy cluster. We are working on it and should have an update shortly.

Sander down

One of our file servers, sander, is currently experiencing some hardware difficulties. Our filer fixing team is looking at it now and expect to have it back online shortly. More details to follow.
This was fully resolved about 15 minutes after this first status post was made. Sorry for the delayed update!

Updated: frisky cluster having issues

The server ‘edsel’ is having issues mounting its file servers, which is causing home directories to be ‘missing’ and sites to be down.
We are looking into the issue and hope to have a resolution shortly.

File server Bambi having problems

The file server Bambi is currently down and has been having issues for the last hour. We’re working on restoring service to it as fast as possible. This can effect the following machines:

Major Outage
