Database server madcat down

The database server madcat is currently down due to hardware problems. Our admins are working bring it back up right now, and we’ll post here when we have more information.
Update 3:27am: we’ve just brought madcat up, I apologize for prolonged outage.

Riffraff mysql server having issues (resolved)

The riffraff mysql server stopped responding suddenly, a tech is on the way to the data center to check what happened to it. Should the hardware have problems, we will move the databases to new hardware. Check back for updates.

The snoopy mysql server is having issues at this time, responding slowly over the network. It is being worked on now and should be working normally again shortly. You can check which mysql server you are on in the control panel under Status -> Mysql Usage. Our apologies for the issues.

The database server “riffraff” is having hardware problems. We’re working to get them figured out and resolved and get it back online as quickly as we can.

MySQL server Elmyra Down - UP AGAIN

The MySQL server Elmyra has been unresponsive to our attempts at resuscitation . This only affects databases on this 1 specific server. The administrative team is diligently working to get it back up with as little continued downtime as is humanly possible. Updates to follow as efforts progress.

Panel database maintenance tonight

We will be performing some maintenance on one of the databases which runs the DreamHost webpanel beginning tonight, August 23, at 10PM PDT (-0700). Ending 1 hour later at August 23, 11PM PDT (-0700). Filer and power strip maintenance tonight (Completed!)
